Kunthaus Zürich

To make up for missing salsa in Zürich on Friday night, we went to one of the best art museums in Switzerland- Kunthaus Zürich.

Edward Munch. Who knew he had other paintings?..
I really like the fluidity of this. It reminds me of when I used to clean my watercolors as a kid with Bounty paper towels and then all the colors would touch and fuse together. But this is oil. So amazing how it blends and bleeds together.
Albert von Keller. His work was featured throughout the museum. He loved women. You can tell.
Magritte. I love this one.
Seeing art in person is nothing like seeing it face to face. It makes a big difference to be able to look at the direction of the brush strokes and how thick or how many layers of paint it took to achieve the look. Unfortunately, the pieces were poorly light and many you couldn't see well because the shadows were bad.
